2008 Jim Barry Clare Red Shiraz Cabernet

Aged for 12 months in seasoned American and French oak. Opaque black purple colour with very deep dark purple hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of dark plum and blackberry followed by some liquorice and spice. Medium weight the palate delivers flavours of dark plum, blackberry and spice but without great depth. Fine grained tannins with moderate blackberry, plum and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 2-3 years (2013-2014).
