2008 Jansz Vintage Cuvee

Pours with a creamy white mousse that shows excellent hold. Pale straw pale gold base wine colour with very fine bead showing excellent persistence. The nose exhibits rich baked bread and yeast autolysis top notes followed by some toastiness and subtle pear. Quite full in style the palate shows signs of oxidative treatment with flavours of yeast lees and almonds followed by some brioche, toast and citrus. Moderately creamy with a crisp dry finish. Long yeast lees, brioche, roasted almonds and citrus aftertaste.

Drink over the next 4-5 years.
