2008 Hurley Vineyard Garamond Pinot Noir

Matured for 18 months in French oak with one third being new. Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Delicate aromas of violets, dark cherry and spice with a hint of meaty earth as an end note. Medium weight the palate is quite spicy and also more reserved and tighter in structure than both the Lodestone & Hommage. Flavours of dark cherry, black plum and a touch of earth with a spicy back palate. Meaty texture with fine grained tannins. Excellent power wave with aftertaste of spicy dark cherry and plum.
Cellar 4-5 years (2014-2015).
