2008 Hollick Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black crimson colour showing excellent colour saturation with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays strong varietal character with perfumed aromas of ripe blackcurrant, violets, cedar and spice with some tobacco like overtones. The palate is bursting with fully ripened Cabernet fruit, delivering excellent richness with mouth filling flavours of blackcurrant, ripe mulberry, cedar and spice followed by a hint of cigar box. Very fine grained tannins. Superb depth with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spice. Another outstanding Coonawarra Cabernet from the exceptional 2008 vintage.
Cellar for 3-4 years (2014-2015).
