2008 Heggies Merlot

Deep dark red colour with dark red mauve hue. The nose exhibits aromas of ripe mulberry and plum followed by some earthy cedar like qualities and spice. Medium weight the palate is quite generous displaying flavours of ripe mulberry followed by some plum, spice and cedar. Soft fine grained tannin structure. Aftertaste of dark mulberry, plum and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2015).
