2008 God's Hill Wines Menzel Shiraz

Super saturated inky black colour with very deep black crimson hue. The nose exhibits scents of dark chocolate and liquorice followed by some mocha, confectionary and vanillin spice end notes. The palate is a concentrate of Shiraz with super rich densely textured flavours of liquorice, blackberry, confectionary and dark chocolate followed by a very spicy back palate. Superb power and depth. Velvet smooth tannins with long plush and very persistent aftertaste of liquorice, dark plum, confectionary and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
