Established by the Sheedy family in 1997, Richard Sheedy gained his experience as winemaker/General Manager at Elderton and previously at St Hallett Wines - perfect credentials for creating opulent Barossa Shiraz's.

This is one of his best yet.

Outstanding saturated black purple colour – totally opaque – with deep black crimson hue. The nose is quite perfumed with lifted top notes of dark chocolate, black plum and liquorice followed by some confectionary end notes showing good intensity. The palate is rich, full bodied and opulent with concentrated flavours of super ripe blackberry and spicy plum followed by some liquorice bullets with a hint of blackpepper on the back palate. Fleshy voluptuous texture and mouthfeel with very fine grained almost velvet like tannins. Excellent depth with long aftertaste of dark blackberry, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
Alc 14.5%
