You’d be hard pressed to find a wine with much more concentration and richness than this whilst still maintaining its perfect balance.

A blend of 70% Shiraz and 30% Mataro. Super saturated, glass staining, totally opaque inky black colour with very deep black dark crimson red hue. The nose displays inviting aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate with a toasty overlay and some spice end notes. The palate boasts a dazzling level of concentration and richness with an almost liqueur like texture. Voluptuous mouthfilling flavours of super ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate followed by some spicy characters. Velvet smooth beautifully integrated tannin structure. Perfectly balanced with not the faintest hint of heat making an appearance. Very long aftertaste of blackberry, dark chocolate, spice and just a touch of earth.
Drink over the next 5-6 years (2011-2017).
Alc 15.5%
