'The Dirtman' is one of Gibson's nome de plumes. Gibson has chosen fruit from two of Barossa Valley's great areas. Eden Valley fruit confers complexity and finesse, whilst fruit grown in the North Barossa delivers that classic voluptuous quality.

A ripe, fleshy Barossa Shiraz from the Dirtman.

Totally opaque black crimson colour with very deep dark red hue. The nose is a little closed at present with aromas of liquorice, dark chocolate, confectionary and spice gradually building in intensity. The palate is much more forthcoming than the nose with generous flavours of ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate bursting out of the blocks, with a voluptuous mouthfeel followed by some vanilla and spice on the back palate. Super fine grained, almost velvet like tannins, with long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, liquorice and blackpepper.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2010-2014)
Alc 14.9%
