2008 Gallagher Sparkling Shiraz

A very dark, ripe, plummy Sparkling Shiraz.
Vibrant purple creamy mousse showing excellent hold. Exceptionally fine bead showing very good persistence with dark purple red base colour. Lifted aromas of very ripe dark plum and blackberry followed by some dark chocolate and a hint of vanillin spice. Full bodied and very rich the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of dark plum, ripe blackberry and dark chocolate at the darker end of the spectrum. Almost creamy like mouthfeel with medium to long aftertaste of dark plum and dark chocolate.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
