2008 Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque deep dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of dark mulberry fruit, blackcurrant, some tobacco leaf cedar like qualities and spice. Medium bodied the palate displays flavours of ripe blackcurrant and mulberry fruit followed by some spicy cedar with some cigar box back palate characters. Slightly dryish but balanced tannin structure with medium to long aftertaste of mulberry, cedar, spice and cigar box.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
