Matured for 12 months in French oak. Near opaque deep dark crimson red colour with crimson red hue. The nose displays top notes of cedar and tobacco followed by some blackcurrant and spice aromas. Medium weight the palate displays flavours of blackcurrant and spice followed by some cedar. Slightly dryish tannins with aftertaste of mulberry, cedar and spice.
