2008 Fontanafredda Papagena Barbera d'Alba

Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. Very perfumed, the nose exhibits excellent intensity with aromas of dark plum, liquorice, spice and new leather. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers plenty of richness with flavours of dark plum, liquorice and dark cherries followed by some spice, new leather and tobacco. Soft fine grained tannins with medium to long aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice, new leather and tobacco.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
