2008 Eldredge Mericourt Cabernet Merlot

Opaque dark crimson red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays top notes of ripe plum, mulberry and spice. The palate is very ripe filled with generous sweet fruit and possessing a plumb texture. Flavours of plum, dark cherry and spice with some charred oak making an appearance on the back palate. Fine grained soft tannin structure with aftertaste of ripe plum, cassis and spicy toasted oak.
Drink over the next 2 years (2010-2012).
