The Dunsborough Hills brand was established as a joint venture between Alastair Gillespie and Bill and Noel Ireland. Alastair has grown grapes at Witchcliffe, south of Margaret River, for over twenty years and also operates a viticultural contracting business based in Margaret River. The Irelands were wine retailers in Sydney for nearly twenty years. 2008 was an excellent vintage for whites in Margaret River. Mild conditions ensured a long ripening season, and full flavour development.

Bright pale straw colour with water like hue, showing a delicate green tinge. The wine is fresh, with dusty aroma followed by grassy, herbaceous unripe gooseberry notes. The palate reflects the nose with grassy herbaceous flavours over a layer of green gooseberry. The back palate is slightly vegetative with confectionary and a herbaceous layer. Crisp acid finish. Aftertaste of unripe gooseberry.
Cellar 1-2 years (2010-2011)
