2008 Dry Creek Vineyard Heritage Zinfandel

This Zin has seen 10 months maturation in American and French oak. Opaque, very dark red colour with dark red hue. Aromas of ripe black cherries, dark plum, liquorice, toast and spice. Medium weight the palate displays flavours of dark cherries, dark plum and spice. Relatively soft, fine grained tannins with moderate aftertaste of dark cherry, plum and spice. A soft simple example.
