2008 Domaine Combe Blanche La Galine

Produced from a blend of 40% Syrah, 20% Carignon, 20% Cinsault and 20% Grenache. Opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose exhibits ripe black raspberry top notes along with some dark plum followed by some lavender and subtle earthy leather like scents. Medium weight the palate has generous dark raspberry and plum flavours followed by a hint of liquorice with some underlying earthiness and spice on the back palate. Dryish finish with soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark raspberry, liquorice and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
