2008 Domaine Asmara Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with dark red hue. The nose displays perfumed aromas of violets, blackberries and dark plums followed by a hint of spice as an end note. The palate has good weight with flavours of spicy blackberries and ripe plum followed by some blackpepper and confectionary on the back palate. Fine grained tannin structure with aftertaste of blackpepper, blackberry and spice. A well made Heathcote Shiraz that possesses a strong blackpepper quality.
Cellar 2-3 years (2012-2013).
