2008 Domaine Asmara Reserve Shiraz

Excellent colour. Totally opaque black crimson colour with black heart and deep black crimson hue. Perfumed aromas of liquorice and blackberry are followed by some confectionary, plum and spice notes. The palate displays great concentration and weight with mouth-filling flavours of liquorice, blackberry, confectionary and spice, with some black pepper on the back palate. Great flavour persistence with very fine grained, perfectly balanced tannins. Very long aftertaste of liquorice, confectionary, black pepper and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2014-2015).
