A great follow up to
the 2007 vintage. This wine has seen maturation
for 12 months in a combination of American and
French barriques. Excellent colour – opaque dark red purple colour with dark red purple hue. Aromas
of black cherry, plum, ink and spice – quite perfumed. On the palate there’s flavours of dark cherry,
inky plum, cedar and spice, boasting excellent weight & concentration for a A$10 quaffing red.
Fine grained well integrated tannins with aftertaste of spiced cherry and dark plum. Great value.
Drink now or cellar 2-3 years.
