2008 De Iuliis Semillon

A youthful Semillon – bright pale straw colour with water like hue. The nose is fresh, with top note of confectionary, followed by dry hay and just a hint of tropical fruit – end note of green apple and lemon. On the palate flavours of green apple and lemon are evident with a touch of confectionary on the back palate. Crisp acid finish. A wine that needs time to gain complexity.
