2008 d'Arenberg d'Arry's Original Shiraz Grenache

This generous spicy McLaren Vale blend of 67% Shiraz and 33% Grenache was matured predominately in older French and American oak barriques for a period ranging between 12 to 21 months.

Opaque deep dark red purple colour with deep dark red hue. Aromas of blackberry, dark raspberry, liquorice and confectionary. Good palate weight with generous flavours of blackberry, liquorice, dark raspberry and a spicy back palate. Joosy texture with fine grained soft tannins. Aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and blackpepper.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
