2008 Curly Flat Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with mauve crimson hue. The nose displays a refined perfumed aromatic profile of violets, dark cherries and spice followed by some meaty cedar like characters. The palate is slightly lighter than the previous two vintages but still possesses the trademark Curly Flat wave of flavour, all but in a slightly more refined manner. Flavours of dark cherry, strawberry and spice followed by some dried meat and cedar. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Excellent depth with long aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and meaty cedar. An elegant and refined Curly Flat.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
