Matured for 16 months in French oak this is a very refined Syrah. Opaque dark crimson red purple colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Elegant aromas of dark plum, liquorice and dark cherry followed by some spice and pepper. The palate is a little tight at present with elegant construction displaying flavours of blackberry, dark cherry and liquorice followed by some spice and blackpepper on the back palate. Fine grained balanced tannins with aftertaste of liquorice, dark plum, spice and blackpepper.
Cellar 4-5 years (2014-2015).
