2008 Connor Park Shiraz

This large scaled Bendigo Shiraz saw 18 months maturation in American oak. Totally opaque, black dark crimson red colour with deep, dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of very ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate followed by some confectionary end notes. Big, dense, super concentrated palate with voluptuous black plum, ripe blackberry and dark chocolate flavours that completely swamp the palate followed by some vanillin oak and spice on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Superb depth with long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, dark plum, dark chocolate and vanillin oak.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015)
