2008 Chateau de Citeaux Bourgogne Pinot Noir

A Classic Pinot Experience !
Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with light brick red hue. The nose shows excellent lift with perfumed notes of violets, dark cherry and plum followed by some gamey meat like characters. Light and elegant the palate displays flavours of dark cherry followed some earth, meaty characters and spice. Dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherry, dried meats and earthy spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2012-2014).
