2008 Chateau de Citeaux Auxey-Duresses Les Duresses Premier Cru

Bright deep crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose delivers a good perfumed lift with aromas of dark cherry and violets to the fore followed by some plum and spice with a touch of earth as an end note. Light in body weight and still quite youthful the palate displays flavours of sour cherry, raspberry and spice followed by some light cedar and a touch of earth on the back palate. Dry finish with fine grained slightly dryish tannins. Sour cherry, spice and cedar aftertaste.
Cellar 2-3 years (2012-2013).
