2008 Cape Mentelle Wilyabrup Cabernet Merlot Cabernet Franc

Very deep dark crimson red colour with deep crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of mulberry and blackcurrant are followed by some cedar and light herbal end notes. Full bodied the palate displays generous flavours of ripe blackcurrant, mulberry and spicy cedar with a hint of cinnamon as end note. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Excellent concentration and depth with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spicy cedar and a touch of cinnamon.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
