2008 Cape Mentelle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Brilliant pale straw colour with water like hue. Top note of confectionary, followed by ripe gooseberry, tropical fruit and spice. The Sauvignon Blanc component is dominant on the palate with grassy herbaceous flavours evident over an unripe gooseberry background. Crisp acid finish. Aftertaste of unripe gooseberry followed by a grassy, herbaceous finish.
