2008 Browns of Padthaway T-Trellis Shiraz

Matured in a combination of French and American oak, this Shiraz displays an opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose is quite subdued with aromas of liquorice allsorts, dark chocolate and confectionary emerging. The palate displays impressive weight and is quite spicy. Mouthfilling flavours of dark chocolate, blackberry and liquorice followed by some vanilla with a very spicy back palate. Generous with fine grained tannins and aftertaste of dark chocolate, liquorice and spice.
