2008 Brokenwood Indigo Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays an excellent perfumed lift with aromas of violets, dark cherries, plum and spice with a light earth overlay. Light to medium weight the palate displays flavours of dark cherries, plum and toasty cedar with a spicy back palate. Good power wave. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, toasty cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2013).
