2008 Brick Kiln The Grove Shiraz

Matured in a combination of new and seasoned French & American oak hogsheads for a period of 18 months. Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays heady aromas of ripe blackberry, dark plum and dark chocolate followed by some liquorice and mocha vanillin oak like characters. Rich, full bodied and plushly textured the palate is filled with lusty ripe fruit flavours of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice followed by some mocha and vanillin oak. Soft velvety tannins. Excellent length with long voluptuous dark plum, dark chocolate, mocha and vanillin oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
