2008 Boundary Rider Shiraz

Deep crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Strong aniseed aromas dominate the nose followed by some liquorice allsorts and confectionary. Medium body weight, lacking the voluptuous joosy characters of the 2007. Flavours of toast, aniseed, liquorice allsorts and confectionary with a dry finish. Fine grained dryish tannins with aftertaste of toast, aniseed and confectionary.
