2008 Bleasdale Frank Potts Red

A ripe chocolatey blend.
The 2008 Frank Potts is comprised of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Malbec and 7% Petit Verdot with the balance being made up of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose displays lifted scents of ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate followed by some dark plum, cedar and spice. Full rich palate, filled with opulent flavours of ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate followed by some dark cherry and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with supple mouthfeel. Medium to long dark chocolate, blackcurrant, dark plum and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
