2008 Best's Great Western Cabernet Sauvignon

A terrific Cabernet from a traditional Shiraz heartland, clearly demonstrating the potential of the variety in Central Victorian vineyards situated on 'warmer', north facing sites. Near opaque dark red crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Refined aromas of cedar, mint, blackcurrant and violets. Medium weight with flavours of blackcurrant, spice, cedar and truffle. Outstanding length and depth of flavour. Beautifully integrated super fine tannin structure with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice and truffle.
