2008 Beelgara Clare Valley Shiraz

Opaque, black dark red colour, with deep, dark red hue. Lifted aromas of blackberry and liquorice are followed by some dark chocolate, confectionary and a touch of leather as an overlay. Full bodied and joosy, the palate displays generous flavours of ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and confectionary. Soft, fine grained tannins. Good length with aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry, confectionary and toast.
