2008 Barratt The Bonython Piccadilly Valley Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red mauve colour with brick red mauve hue. The nose displays scents of dark cherry, a hint of anise, some gamey cedar like characters and spice. Light to medium bodied the palate delivers flavours of dark cherry, strawberry, some meaty like characters and a spicy cedar back palate. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of spicy dark cherry, strawberry and meaty cedar.
