2008 Angove Vineyard Select Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 18 months in small oak barrels. Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. Lifted aromas of very ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and dark chocolate followed by a hint of mint as an end note. Medium to full bodied the palate displays generous ripe dark chocolate, spice, cassis and confectionary flavours. Fine grained slightly firm but balanced tannin structure with aftertaste of dark chocolate, blackcurrant and spice.
Cellar 2-3 years (2012-2013).
