2008 Alexia Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with dark crimson mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of violets, dark cherries, anise and spicy cedar showing very good intensity. Light to medium weight but possessing good richness the palate displays flavours of ripe dark cherries, anise and spicy toasted cedar with a touch of earth on the finish. Very fine grained tannins. Good depth with aftertaste of dark cherry, anise and spicy toasted cedar.
Drink over the next 2 years (2011-2013).
