2007 Yalumba Y Series Shiraz

Very deep almost opaque black crimson colour with black purple hue, showing good lift. Top note of spice, followed by plum, black pepper and light vanilla – showing good varietal character, with and inky end note. The palate has good weight with flavours of inky plum and liquorice allsorts. Fine dryish tannins which run through to the aftertaste. Liquorice and inky plum aftertaste persist.
