2007 Woodlands Cabernet Merlot

Medium body, deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Top note of mulberry, followed by blackcurrant, cedar and spice with truffle end note. The palate flavour profile is tight with cedar, blackcurrant and stewed fruit evident. Fine dry chalky tannins. Aftertaste of cedar, truffle and stewed fruit. Dry tannins persist.
