A very pleasant surprise from Marlborough with plenty of good Pinot character
Medium body, deep black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The top note shows a hint of violet followed by ripe blackberry, plum, spice and anise. Generous palate with favours of liquorice, plum, spice and dark cherry with a hint of earth and truffe. Moderate powerwave. Velvet tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherry, truffe, earth and spice.
