2007 Villa Trasqua Chianti Classico

Dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays a top note of earth followed by aromas of anise, dark cherry and cedar. Medium weight with flavours of black cherry, earth, leather, anise and spice with a dry finish. The tannins are a little on the chalky side and quite dry. Aftertaste of spice, dark cherry and leather.
