2007 Vasse Felix Classic Dry Red Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

A well made, spicy Margaret River blend 87% Shiraz, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Viognier. Opaque dark crimson red colour with dark crimson hue. Aromas of blackberry, liquorice, confectionary and spice followed by a hint of cedar and earth as an end note. Medium to full bodied palate weight with flavours of spice, liquorice and blackcurrant followed by a spice, earth and black pepper back palate which persists through to the aftertaste. Fine grained dryish tannins with long aftertaste of spice, liquorice and black pepper.
