Albarino is the grape that is considered to be Spain’s premier white grape variety. The Albarino grape is very aromatic, whose aroma has often been described as almonds, apples, peach, citrus flowers and grass. The acidity is usually very high, but not long lasting. The wines should be drunk in their youth as even after a few months of bottling the wine begins to lose its aromatics.

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Perfumed nose – reminiscent of a cross between Pinot Gris and Viognier. The acidity is quite light, in spite of being on the high side when it is grown in Spain or Portugal. On the palate flavours of pear and light tropical fruit over a citrus background. Aftertaste of confectionary, pear and citrus.
