2007 Torzi Matthews Frost Dodger Shiraz

Matured for 24 months in a combination of new and seasoned French oak. Deep crimson brick red colour with mauve brick red hue. Perfumed nose of ripe plum, mocha, liquorice allsorts and vanilla displaying good varietal character and intensity. Full bodied palate filled with ripe sweet fruit flavours of stewed plum, liquorice allsorts, mocha and confectionary followed by some spice and blackpepper back palate characters. Silky smooth tannins with long aftertaste of spice, stewed plum and liquorice allsorts.
Drink now or cellar a further 1-2 years (2010-2011)
