Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Aroma of cherry and spice followed by a hint of liquorice. The palate has good weight and depth with spice and dark cherry flavours. Moderate power wave. Excellent length. Velvet tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherry and spice.

Deeper colour than usual for Stonier, the aromas and flavours likewise stronger and deeper, but without any hint of dead/shrivelled fruit; instead there are delicious cherry and plum flavours running through the long, supple palate.
