2007 Stonier Chardonnay

Bright, deep straw colour with pale gold and green tinge, showing some development. The style is elegant. Aroma of peach, spice, melon and cantaloupe, followed by a hint of biscuit, yeast lees and hazelnut. The flavour profile is restrained but elegant, whilst still showing good varietal character. Dry palate, with flavours of biscuit, hazelnut and spice over a light lees background. Clean acid finish with some yeast lees and lemon evident on the aftertaste.
