2007 Spinifex Espirit Red Blend

Peter Schell and Magali Gely have had a home in the Barossa Valley for over ten years and started their vineyard venture in 2001 when an opportunity to source old vine Mataro arose. Their passion has transpired into a delicious Rhone inspired blend composed of 36% Shiraz, 26% Grenache, 25% Mataro, 7% Carignan and 6% Cinsault.

Deep dark red purple colour with dark crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose with aromas of dark plum, spice, blackberry, dark chocolate and confectionary. Full bodied rich mouthfilling palate flavours of spicy dark plum, dark chocolate, confectionary and blackpepper. Velvet smooth tannin structure with long aftertaste of spice, dark plum, chocolate and pepper.
