2007 Sparr Tradition Schoenenbourg Grand Cru Riesling

Bright straw colour with watery hue. The nose is quite perfumed with lifted notes of rose petals, lime and honeysuckle followed by some ripe tropical fruit and toast notes. Very full and rich the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of ripe lime, mandarin and cinnamon followed by some honeysuckle on the back palate. Excellent texture and mouthfeel. Clean dry finish with long aftertaste of ripe lime, mandarin, honeysuckle and spice. A full flavoured, rich and viscously textured Riesling.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2010-2015).
